Athletistic / Tennis. The world’s second racket, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, said he avoided a serious injury during the tournament in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). Earlier, Alcaraz withdrew from the match with Brazilian Thiago Wilde 10 minutes into the first round.

The Spaniard fell unsuccessfully and injured his ankle. But he escaped serious harm.

Alcaraz explained why he didn’t finish the match at the Rio de Janeiro tournament

“I just had an MRI of my ankle after an injury. They diagnosed me with a second degree lateral sprain. Because of the sprain, I was out for several days. See you in Las Vegas and Indian Wells,” the Spaniard wrote on social media.

Remember that Alcaraz will play with Rafael Nadal during an exhibition tournament in Las Vegas (USA).
