Former French tennis player Gilles Simon will join the coaching team of the Russian tennis player Daniel Medvedev reports We Love Tennis.
According to the publication, Simon will join the Russian team ahead of the Masters Series tournament in Indian Wells, which begins on March 8.
Gilles Cervara will remain Medvedev’s head coach and Simon will take on the role of consultant.
Simon retired at the end of the 2022 season, having won 14 singles titles throughout his career.
Medvedev is ranked fourth in the world rankings and has 20 ATP titles to his name.
