Ukrainian tennis player Lyudmila Kichenok And Elena Ostapenko from Latvia lost in the quarterfinals of the doubles tournament WTA 1000 V Dubai (UAE).
Kichenok and Ostapenko faced second seeds Gabriela Dabrowski of Canada and Erin Routliffe of New Zealand. The two-set match lasted just under an hour and a half.
In the first set, the Ukrainian and Latvian lost one game on their serve. In the second game, Kichenok and Ostapenko led with a break 4:2, but then lost four games in a row.
Lyudmila and Elena were seeded sixth in the tournament. In the first round, the duo beat Arancia Rus/Wang Xin Yu and then beat Alisha Parks and Xu Yifan.
