Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov won the sixth title of his career by winning the ATP 250 tournament in Doha (Qatar).
In the final match, the Russian defeated 18-year-old Czech tennis player Jakub Mensik, who ranks 116th in the world rankings. The first set lasted more than an hour and ended with Khachanov winning the tiebreaker with a score of 14:12.
The total duration of the match was 1 hour 50 minutes, Khachanov had 10 serves to his credit, Menshik scored 17 aces.
This is the first tournament since September 2023 that Khachanov has managed to win – he then won the competition in Zhuhai, China. As for Menshik, this is the first time he has reached the final of a tournament under the auspices of the ATP.
