“I hope Aslan will get back in shape and the match he lost will come back to him: confidence in the first place. The Russian quarter-final? Why not. Cherundolo is confident now, he is playing well. But a lot will depend how Andrei Rublev will play,” Olkhovsky said.
In the 1/8 final, Aslan Karatsev defeated Colombian tennis player Daniel-Elai Galan with the score 3:6, 6:3, 6:4. In the quarterfinals, he will play with the winner of the pair Francisco Cherundolo (Argentina) – Andrey Rublev (Russia).
