The Ukrainian tennis player managed to win the first round in the prestigious tennis tournament.
Dayana Yastremskaya successfully started the prestigious hard-court tournament of the WTA 500 series in San Diego, America. In the 1/16 finals, the Ukrainian defeated the owner of the courts, Caroline Dolehide, in a difficult confrontation.
Dayana could end the match in two sets, but lost her advantage in the second game. Therefore, Yastremskaya had to spend more than two hours in court.
In the 1/8 finals of the tournament, the Ukrainian will meet with Russian Anna Blinkova.
