The match lasted 1 hour 34 minutes and ended with a score of 6:3, 6:3 in favor of Parry. At the end of the match, she made five consecutive serves, a double fault and four breaks out of 11 break points. Rakhimova did not complete a single ace, made six errors on her serve and converted one break point out of six possible.
In the quarter-finals of the Austin tournament, Diane Parry will face the 35th racket in the world, the Ukrainian Angelina Kalinina.
