Vice President of the Russian Tennis Federation (RFT) Alexey Selivanenko reacted to the defeat Karena Khachanova in the second round of the ATP 500 tournament in Dubai.
Khachanov lost to Czech Jiri Legechka with a score of 7:6 (8:6), 6:7 (5:7), 4:6.
— Every successful series has its end. And a series of long tie-breaks won as well. Of course, losing with so many match points is always unpleasant, but it is an integral part of any tennis player’s career,” RB Sport quotes Selivanenko.
In the quarter-finals, Legechka will face Kazakhstan’s Alexander Bublik.
