Athletistic / Tennis. Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios spoke about the scandalous disqualification of Russian Andrei Rublev from the ATP-500 tournament in Dubai (UAE). The fifth player in the world ranking was suspended from further competition during the decisive set of the semi-final of the tournament with Kazakhstan’s Alexander Bublik.
“An act worthy of Bublik, who declared that he wanted to continue the match. My respect for him. I sympathize with Rublev. He did not deserve this disqualification,” Kyrgios wrote on his social media page.

Andrei Rublev, at the very end of the decisive set with the score 5:6, insulted the linesman. It was not the tower judge who drew attention to the Russian’s offensive remarks, but another linesman who knew Russian. As a result, Rublev was disqualified. Note that Bublik actually told the referee that he was ready to continue the match with Rublev.
