Athletistic/Tennis. Former world number one and winner of 22 Grand Slam titles Rafael Nadal has expressed his thoughts on the possible end of his sporting career. The Spanish tennis player said he is not currently considering ending his career.

“If you start thinking about goodbyes, it will come closer. I want to end my career on a positive note, staying fit and enjoying the game. Time will tell how possible that is. Yes, things are difficult right now, but I want to give myself the opportunity to continue enjoying tennis.” – said Nadal before the tournament in Indian Wells.

Recall that Nadal, 37, last appeared on the court in January at a tournament in Brisbane and was subsequently injured. The Indian Wells tournament will be the first for the tennis player after a long break.
