Russian tennis player Andrei Rublev retained fifth place in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings, an updated version of which was published on the organization’s website.
Last week, Rublev was disqualified in the semi-finals of the ATP 500 tournament in Dubai. During the match against the representative of Kazakhstan Alexander Bublik, Rublev shouted at the line referee, another referee heard an insult to his colleague in his speech. According to the regulations, after being suspended, Rublev will lose all points earned and prize money from the tournament.
The Russian remains in fourth position in the ranking Daniel Medvedev . The Serbian Novak Djokovic is still in the lead, the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz is in second place and the Italian Jannik Sinner is in third place.
