Norwegian Casper Ruud lost to Australian Alex de Minaur in the final of the ATP-500 tournament in Acapulco (Mexico), but managed to beat him in the world rankings. The Scandinavian goes from 11th to 9th place, and the representative of the Green Continent falls from 9th to 10th position.
The legendary Serbian Novak Djokovic continues to be the world number one. Following him, the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, and in third place the Italian Jannik Sinner, winner of the Australian Open in 2024.
Daniil Medvedev remains the strongest tennis player in Russia, occupying 4th place in the world rankings. Andrey Rublev and Karen Khachanov retained their positions. Roman Safiullin has lost three places and is now 42nd in the ATP rankings.
