Athletistic/Tennis. Rick McKee – former coach of Venus and Serena Williams – has speculated on Serena’s chances of winning her 24th Grand Slam title.
“If she wants to, she has to dedicate herself to it and get in shape. Talent is not lost – fitness is lost. If she really wants to achieve that, I have no doubt that she can do it. And I believe she could not only win a Grand Slam, but she could be number one in the world if she wanted to,” McKee said.
Serena Williams, 40, has returned to tennis after a year’s absence from the Eastbourne International Tennis Tournament. In the doubles tournament, she along with Tunisian tennis player Uns Jabir reached the semi-finals of the competition, but the pair were forced to withdraw due to Jabir’s injury.
Williams then competed at Wimbledon, where she lost in the first round to French tennis player Harmony Tan 5:7, 6:1, 6:7.
