The International Tennis Federation (ITF) announced on Wednesday that Russian and Belarusian tennis players have been allowed to participate in the 2024 Paris Olympics as neutral athletes.
“All tennis players, of course, will go to the Olympics. The decision, of course, is positive. However, it is too early to make predictions for the future. A lot can happen before the summer, I don’t wish anyone to get hurt,” Kafelnikov commented in an interview with Match TV.
The Paris Olympic Games will take place from July 26 to August 11.
- Kamelzon: “The ITF’s decision to admit athletes to the Olympic Games is not surprising; it is impossible to hide the country and its talented athletes”
