Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios said he hoped to return to court within a month.
Kyrgios has only played one match since October 2022: last June, the Australian lost in the first round of the Stuttgart tournament. In December, the 28-year-old tennis player admitted that he might retire in one or two years due to injuries.
Responding to a question from a social media follower about whether he plans to perform again, the Australian said: “If everything goes well, I plan to be back within a month.”
Kyrgios reached the Wimbledon final in 2022, where he lost to Serbian Novak Djokovic in four games, and also won the Australian Open in doubles. The highest position of a tennis player in the ATP rankings is 13th place in 2016.
