Athletistic/Tennis. Russian tennis player Andrei Rublev shared his thoughts on his victory in the second round of the Masters tournament in Indian Wells.
In his opening match of the tournament, he defeated the two-time Olympic champion, Great Britain’s Andy Murray, with a score of 7:6 (7:3), 6:1.
“Andy had a good chance to win the first set and I was lucky to win. If I had lost, the situation would have become much more difficult. After winning the first match, I felt in confidence and I realized that Andy would have difficulty maintaining his game,” Rublev said, as quoted by the ATP press service.
In the next round, Rublev will meet Czech tennis player Jiri Legechka.
