Italian tennis player Luca Nardi called his victory over the Serbs a miracle Novak Djokovic during the Indian Wells tournament (USA).
In the third round of the tournament, Nardi, ranked 123rd in the world, defeated the world number one with a score of 6:4, 3:6, 6:3.
“I don’t think anyone knew me before tonight.” I hope the audience enjoyed the game. I am very happy with this game.
I don’t know how I resisted. I think it’s a miracle because I’m a 20-year-old guy, in the second hundred of the rankings, and I beat Novak. It’s crazy,” Nardi was quoted as saying by the ATP press service.
In the next round, Nardi will meet American Tommy Paul.
