The match lasted 1 hour 53 minutes and ended with a score of 6:4, 6:3 in favor of Parry. The Frenchwoman had two missed serves, two double faults and three breaks out of 15 break points. Anna Blinkova made two aces in this match, committed 14 double faults and also converted one break point out of five possible.

Parry’s next opponent will be Greece’s Maia Sakkari, who beat France’s Caroline Garcia (6:3, 6:4) in the third round of the competition.
