Athletistic/Tennis. Coach Viktor Yanchuk expressed his impressions of the performance of Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev, fourth in the world ranking, in the match of the third round of the Masters Series tournament in Indian Wells (USA) against American Sebastian Korda. Medvedev won with a score of 6:4, 5:7, 6:3. Yanchuk emphasized that the Russian performed perfectly against his opponent and demonstrated a high level of endurance.

“In my opinion, Medvedev was confident in his victory, despite the fact that he lost to Korda in one of the sets. It should be noted that when playing shots from the back line, Korda was significantly weaker than Medvedev. “Daniil had a greater reserve of endurance and reliability, which allowed him to cope with Korda’s attacks,” Yanchuk is quoted as saying by TASS.

Recall that at the next stage of the competition in the USA, in the 1/8 finals, Medvedev will face the 13th racket in the world, Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov, who previously defeated Frenchman Adrian Mannarino with a score of 6:3 , 6:3.
