Marta Kostyuk won another victory in the WTA 1000 series tournament in American Indian Wells. This time, the representative of the aggressor country, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, could not compete with the Ukrainian.
The Russian woman lost in the 1/8 finals of the competition. The match, which lasted 79 minutes, ended with a score of 6:4, 6:1 – in favor of our tennis player.
Note that for the first time in her career, Kostyuk reached the quarter finals in a WTA 1000 category tournament. This season, the Ukrainian won 14 out of 19 matches and is among the ten most successful tennis players in the career of Championship.
