Elina Svitolinawho, despite a pause in her career, again became the first racket of the country, spoke about her mission during the war in Ukraine.
“When the Russian invasion started, it was very difficult for me to compete psychologically, because my family was in Ukraine, it was very difficult to deal with it. My priorities and outlook have really changed a lot. I felt like I was in the wrong place when I played on the court. I was very worried about my family. It was really difficult to focus 100% on my work, which is why I wanted to share my vision.
