Athletistic / Tennis. Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev (4th racket in the world) shared his emotions after his defeat against Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz (2nd number in the ATP ranking) during the Masters final in Indian Wells (USA). The Russian lost to his opponent in straight sets with a score of 6:7 (5-7), 1:6.

“Congratulations to Carlos and his team for this well-deserved victory. I hope that one day you will give me a better performance in Indian Wells, otherwise we will not meet you in the final. (Smiles.) But now it doesn’t work like that anymore. Unfortunately, my wife and daughter were not at the game today: they were on a plane. Perhaps because of this I did not receive the necessary energy charge,” Medvedev was quoted as saying by the ATP press service.

Carlos Alcaraz beat Daniil Medvedev in the Masters final at Indian Wells for the second year in a row. Both tennis players defended the points they won last year (1000 – Alcaraz, 650 – Medvedev). They are now both moving to Miami, where the second Masters will be held in 2024. Note that its current winner is Medvedev.
