Russian Andrei Rublev fell to sixth place in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings, an updated version of which was published on the organization’s website on Monday March 18.
At the final tournament in Indian Wells, Rublev was unable to advance beyond the third round, losing to Czech tennis player Jiri Legechka. The Russian was overtaken in the updated ATP rankings by Germany’s representative Alexander Zverev, who now occupies fifth place.
The Serbian Novak Djokovic occupies first place in the ranking, followed by the winner of the Indian Wells tournament, the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz. Jannik Sinner, representing Italy, is in third place.
Remains the best among Russians Daniel Medvedev , ranked fourth in the ranking. Karen Khachanov fell to 16th place, Roman Safiullin moved from 42nd to 39th. Aslan Karatsev also added three positions and is now in 41st place, Pavel Kotov remained in 67th place.
