Athletistic / Tennis. The press service of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) has published an updated version of the ranking of the strongest singles tennis players on the planet. So far, no representative from Russia has appeared in the top 10.

The best Russian woman is Daria Kasatkina. After the WTA-1000 tournament in Indian Wells, she moved from 12th to 11th place in the rankings. There are still three representatives from Russia in the top 20: Lyudmila Samsonova (15 years old), Ekaterina Alexandrova (16 years old) and Veronika Kudermetova (19 years old).

The Polish Iga Swiatek strengthened her leading position in the rankings. The day before, she had won the Indian Wells tournament. Belarusian Arina Sabalenka continues to stay in second place and American Cori Gauff is third.
