French tennis player Arthur Cazeau lost consciousness during a qualifying match for the ATP tournament in Miami (USA) against his compatriot Harold Mayot, reports RMC Sport.
The incident occurred in the third set with the score 4:6, 7:5, 2:1 in favor of Caso. The tennis player was waiting for a serve from his opponent, but suddenly collapsed on the court.
Doctors and support staff quickly arrived to help and Cazeau was evacuated from the site in a wheelchair.
Cazeau is 21 years old and ranked 74th in the ATP rankings. His career best result was the fourth round at the 2024 Australian Open.
