On Tuesday, it became known about the death of former Pittsburgh hockey player and coach Salavat Yulaev Konstantin Koltsov, who was Sabalenko’s young man. Police in Miami-Dade County (United States) announced the opening of an investigation into the suicide of a Belarusian specialist. Koltsov was 42 years old.
The Miami tournament takes place from March 19 to 31, Sabalenka received the second seed.
