The Ukrainian tennis player defeated the representative of Poland in the WTA competition in a difficult confrontation.
Lesya Tsurenko successfully started the prestigious hard-court tournament of the WTA 1000 series in Miami, America.
In the first round of the competition, the Ukrainian defeated Magda Linett in a tough three-set match. The match lasted 2 hours and 24 minutes. This is the third meeting of the athletes, both of our compatriots won.
In the next round, Tsurenko will play against Belgian Grete Minnen. The latter entered the main draw as a lucky loser, replacing Barbora Krejcikova.
