World number two Arina Sabalenka has spoken out for the first time following the death of her boyfriend and former Belarusian national team hockey player Konstantin Koltsov.
On Tuesday, it became known about the death of former Pittsburgh hockey player and coach Salavat Yulaev Konstantin Koltsov.
“Konstantin’s death is an unimaginable tragedy and, even though we are apart, my heart breaks. Please respect my privacy and that of her family during this difficult time,” the tennis player wrote on her social networks.
Aryna Sabalenka will participate in the Miami tournament, which will take place from March 19 to 31.
