WTA Miami: Two Ukrainians moved, one eliminated

The second round matches of the prestigious WTA 1000 series tennis tournament in Florida have begun.

The second round was different for the tennis players of Ukraine at the prestigious WTA 1000 series tournament in Miami.

Lesya Tsurenko ended her performances in tough competition, losing in two sets to Belgian Gret Minnen. Note that the latter entered the main draw as a lucky loser. She replaces former world number two Barbora Krejcikova.

Meanwhile, Dayana Yastremskaya had a successful start to the tournament. The Ukrainian defeated Daria Seville from Australia in the second round in straight sets.

Angelina Kalinina had a harder time in the beginning. The Ukrainian beat former world number one Caroline Wozniacki in three sets.

Our compatriot lost the first set. In the second game, Kalinina lost with a score of 2:5, but managed to turn the tide of the match and grab the win.
