Athletistic / Tennis. Double Olympic champion and former world number one, British tennis player Andy Murray, shared his opinion on Carlos Alcaraz’s performance during the second round match of the Masters in Miami (USA). Last night, the world number two beat his compatriot Roberto Carballes-Baena in straight sets with a score of 6:2, 6:1.
“The way Alcaraz plays tennis makes me smile,” Murray wrote on his social media page.
At 20 years old, Carlos Alcaraz had already won two Grand Slam tournaments (US Open 2022 and Wimbledon 2023). Last week he won the India Masters in Wales for the second year in a row, beating Russian Daniil Medvedev in the final.
Alcaraz’s opponent during the 3rd round match (1/16 final) of the Miami tournament will be Frenchman Gaël Monfils.
