Russian tennis player Danil Medvedev After beating Britain’s Cameron Norrie in the third round of the Masters Series tournament in Miami, he noticed progress in his net game.
Medvedev, seeded third, beat Norrie (30th seed) 7:5, 6:1.
— Overall, I think the pitch wasn’t that bad. The first service was pretty good. Even when you lose your serve but break six times in two sets, it’s a very positive thing.
It’s not that easy to go to the net against Cameron. So I was pretty careful, but when I had the chance, I had to try. And I feel like I’ve improved my net game this year, that’s the part of my game I want to improve. So I am very happy about that,” Medvedev told the ATP website.
In the next round, the Russian will face the German Dominik Koepfer.
