“I am very sorry that I cannot go on the field today due to health problems. I was determined to play, but my condition does not allow me to continue. Thank you for your support,” Kalinskaya was quoted as saying by the WTA press service.

It should be noted that at the tournament in Miami, Kalinskaya showed excellent results, winning a crushing victory over Chinese tennis player Xiyu Wang, ranked 56th in the world rankings, with a score of 6:2, 6:2, and also defeating Latvian tennis player Jelena Ostapenko, winner of the 2017 French Open, is ranked 10th with a score of 6:3, 6:1.
