Athletistic/Tennis. Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov, silver medalist at the 2020 Olympics and ranked 16th in the world, successfully reached the 1/8 finals of the Masters tournament in Miami (USA).

Khachanov (15) beat Argentinian Francisco Serundolo (20) with a score of 6:1, 5:7, 7:6 (7:5). The match lasted 2 hours and 39 minutes.

During the match, Khachanov made six serves, committed a double fault and converted four out of eight break points. Cherundolo had nine aces, double faulted and capitalized on two of the five break points.

In the next round of the 1/8 finals, Khachanov will meet the fifth racket in the world, the German Alexander Zverev (4). Recall that the last time they faced each other was in the final of the 2020 Olympics, where Zverev won.
