Ukrainian tennis player beat Russian Kuznetsov in three sets
Tennis player Ilya Marchenko made it to the second round of the series tournament ATP Challenger Tour in Spanish Segovia. The Ukrainian beat the Russian Andrei Kuznetsov in three sets.
The fight lasted two hours and 15 minutes. In the first set, Marchenko missed one set point and then lost in a tie-break.
The Ukrainian defeated the opponent in the second installment, taking someone else’s serve four times. In the final set, Ilya quickly seized the advantage and brought the fight to victory.
In the second round of the hard tournament in Segovia, the Ukrainian will play with the winner of the match Altug Jelikbilek (Turkey) – Benjamin Lok (Zimbabwe).
