In an interview with Tribuna, he also spoke about why he filed a request with the WTA for the removal of Russian and Belarusian tennis players.
“When there is a genocide of Ukrainians, and they represent their countries, we need to know if they support such actions.
In fact, according to statistics, 80% of Russians – perhaps more – support such actions of their state. If this is true, why are they with us, with our colleagues?
