Athletistic / Tennis. The fourth racket in the world, Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev, shared his expectations following the meeting with Italian Jannik Sinner (3rd world ranking) in the semi-final of the Masters Series tournament in Miami (USA).
“Yannick is playing better and better and has confidence in himself. I watched some of Sinner’s matches on TV. Sometimes he seems to have problems, but he finds solutions, and that’s what champions do. meeting is a big challenge for me. (…) I will try to leave myself completely on the court,” Medvedev said, as quoted by the ATP press service.
Daniil Medvedev currently leads 6-4 head-to-head with the Italian tennis player, but has lost his last four matches, including the 2024 Australian Open final.
The match between Medvedev and Sinner will take place on January 29 and will start at 22:00 Moscow time.
