Russian tennis player Daniel Medvedev failed to reach the final of the Masters Series tournament in Miami.
In the semifinals, Medvedev, who received the third seed, suffered a major defeat against Italian Jannik Sinner (2nd seed) with a score of 1:6, 2:6. The athletes spent 1 hour and 9 minutes on the field.
Medvedev suffered his fifth consecutive defeat against Sinner. The last time a Russian beat the third racket in the world was last year in the final of the same tournament.
In the Masters final, Sinner will face the winner of the match between Grigor Dimitrov (Bulgaria, 11 years old) and Alexander Zverev (Germany, 4 years old).
