Russian tennis player Anastasia Pavliuchenkova rose from 10th to 13th place in the race for the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) championship, an updated version of which was published on the organization’s website.
Pavlyuchenkova scored 65 points at the end of the Miami tournament; in total, the 32-year-old Russian has 1,147 points.
The leader of the race is the Polish Iga Szwiatek. Kazakh Elena Rybakina is second, ahead of Belarusian Arina Sabalenka. The winner of the Miami tournament, American Danielle Collins, climbed 19 places and is now in seventh place.
