For the first time in his career, Italian Jannik Sinner rose to second place in the ATP rankings. This was made easier by his victory at the Miami Masters. He thus pushes the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz into third position. Serbian Novak Djokovic remains leader of the world rankings.
Russia’s strongest tennis player remains Daniil Medvedev, fourth in the world rankings. Andrey Rublev is still in sixth place. But Karen Khachanov fell from 16th to 17th place, Roman Safiullin rose from 39th to 40th, Aslan Karatsev lost three positions at once and is now the 44th racket in the world, and Pavel Kotov fell from 67th in 68th place.
Note that the finalist of the Miami Masters, the Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, gained three places and now occupies 9th place in the ranking of the strongest tennis players on the planet.
