Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova rose from 16th to 15th place in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings, a new version of which was published on the organization’s website.
Alexandrova, who last week reached the semi-finals of the Miami tournament, replaced her compatriot Lyudmila Samsonova from 15th place. The best Russian remains Daria Kasatkina, who maintains her 11th position.
There was no change in the top 5 of the WTA rankings: the Polish Iga Szwiatek is in the lead, followed by Aryna Sabalenka (Belarus) and the American Cori Gauff.
