Medvedev remained at the top of the ATP rankings and broke Safin’s record

The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) has released an updated version of the world rankings.

The first place in the list continues to be led by a Russian Daniel Medvedev . The representative of Germany Alexander Zverev takes the second row. The Spaniard Rafael Nadal closes the top three.

The Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz entered the top 5 of the ranking. The 19-year-old tennis player has become the youngest top 5 player in the ATP rankings since Rafael Nadal in 2005.

Andrei Rublev is in 8th place, Karen Khachanov moved from 26th to 23rd place. Aslan Karatsev takes 37th place.

Medvedev broke Marat Safin’s record by being in first place in the ranking of Russian tennis players. The latter was the leader of the ATP rankings for nine weeks.
