At the Masters Series clay court tournament in Monte Carlo (Monaco), a quarterfinal match took place, where the second racket in the world, Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner, defeated the seventh seat in the ATP ranking, the representative of Denmark, Holger Rune. The match ended with a score of 6:4, 6:7 (6:8), 6:3 in favor of the Italian athlete.

In the semi-final of the Monte Carlo Masters, Sinner will face Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas, ranked 12th in the world rankings, who previously beat Russian Karen Khachanov. The tournament is scheduled to end on April 14.
