Former world number one Rafael Nadal has confirmed that he will perform at the Barcelona tennis tournament.
The tournament will take place from April 15 to 21. Nadal has won the Barcelona singles title 12 times. In the first round of the tournament, the Spaniard will face the Italian Flavio Cobolli.

Nadal last took to the court in January at a tournament in Brisbane (Australia).
