Katerina Beindl advanced to the second round of the WTA 250 clay tournament in Warsaw. In the opening match of the competition, the Ukrainian easily defeated her former compatriot Marina Zanevskaya, who had the 11th seed.

Both games of the two-set duel, which lasted 99 minutes, ended with a score of 6:3 in favor of our tennis player. During the match, Bindl served one ace and committed four double faults.

In the next round, Katerina will play against the winner of the pair Sara Errani – Arancha Rus.
