Bublik won in three matches – 1:6, 6:2, 6:2. The tennis players played for almost an hour and a half.
Bublik completed five aces, converted three out of six break points and committed six double faults. Roberto Carballem-Baena had three converted break points out of five and two double faults.
To reach the 1/8 finals, Alexander Bublik will compete with Tomas Machac (Czech Republic, 50 years old) or Ben Shelton (USA, 15 years old).
