Tennis: Bagnis, the only Argentine left in the ATP 250 in Umag

Facundo Bagnis (120th in the world ranking) qualified for the quarterfinals of the ATP 250 in Umag after defeating the French Corentin Moutet (116th) by a resounding 6-3 and 6-1. The tournament that takes place in Croatia, in brick dust, distributes 597,900 euros in prizes.

The 32-year-old tennis player struggled for less than an hour and a half to leave the European on the road and successfully opened the history between the two in the professional circuit. The only previous rivalry was in the 2018 edition of the tournament in Santiago de Chile, with a victory for Rosario.
