Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva failed to reach the second round of the WTA 1000 Series clay court tournament in Rome.
In the first round, 17-year-old Andreeva lost to Spaniard Paula Badosa with a score of 2:6, 3:6. The meeting lasted 1 hour 34 minutes.
Former world number two Badosa will face American Emma Navarro (21st seed) in the second round.
