Marchenko lost in a tense fight in the final of the tournament in Taipei

The Ukrainian lost to Adam Walton from Australia in the third set tiebreaker

Ukrainian tennis player Ilya Marchenko lost in the final of the tournament in a tense struggle ATP Challenger 75 V Taipei.

Ilya met with the third racket of the competition, Adam Walton from Australia. The three-set match lasted two hours and 40 minutes.

The first game was left to the Ukrainian. In the second set, Marchenko lost four games in a row and was unable to come back. In the decisive game, Ilya played one break, but ultimately lost in the tiebreaker.

In the first round, Ilya defeated the Japanese Hiroki Moriya, after which he triumphed over the “neutral” Evgeniy Donskoy and the Australian Max Purcell. In the semi-finals, Marchenko beat the representative of Taiwan, Yu Siu Su, in a strong-willed manner.
