Athletistic / Tennis. Honored tennis coach of Russia Viktor Yanchuk shared his expectations for the performance of Russian tennis players at the Roland Garros Grand Slam clay court tournament.

“Our women have minimal chances at Roland Garros; now they play with more or less success. Now one will jump, then the other can achieve something, but I don’t see them higher than the semis -finals – for them this is the maximum result, it is unlikely that they will claim to win in the presence of Sabalenko and Swiatek,” Yanchuk was quoted as saying by Soviet Sport.

Roland Garros will be held from May 26 to June 9. Qualifications for the clay court slam begin today, May 20. The current winner of the tournament is the world number one, the Polish Iga Swiatek.
