Anastasia, Russian tennis player Zakharova reached the semi-finals of Roland-Garros qualifying.
In the opening match of the tournament, Zakharova, ranked 166th in the WTA rankings, defeated Hungarian Anna Bondar with a score of 6:7 (8:10), 6:3, 6:4. The meeting lasted 3 hours 5 minutes.
Zakharova will face Slovenia’s Dalila Jakupovic to reach the qualifying final.
Additionally, Russians Yulia Avdeeva and Oksana Selekhmetyeva were able to advance to the next stage of the qualifying phase. Polina Kudermetova completed her performance at the tournament.
